Our philosophy as a German-Dutch publishing house is to be active as a European publisher.
We offer our scientific and textbook authors an optimised publishing concept.
Several hundred well-known research institutes and editors of international conference proceedings regularly
entrust their publications to us.
Our programme contains more than 18,000 titles, and we are one of the first publishers to offer
an additional online-publication of our books.
At the moment we have 320 institute serials, publishing the latest research results.

We publish proceedings and transcripts of well-known European meetings and conferences.

We support university institutes by publishing and printing their lecture notes,
enable them to update the contents of the publications continuously and offer
them the prints at reasonable costs. A selection of such lecture notes
is listed here.
When publishing scientific monographs, theses and proceedings, we attach importance to
short production times, widest possible distribution and moderate costs for off-prints
and author’s copies. To achieve the best distribution for every publication, we do
research together with our authors and editors on potential readers and inform them
systematically about every book at its release. Our books are available in the booktrade
in Germany, the Netherlands and internationally via the listing of
Nielsen (Great Britain).
That way every one of our publications is available for the international booktrade
and can be ordered in all English-speaking countries. Leading online booksellers such
as Amazon.co.uk (or Amazon.de) and others carry our books.
Our publishing house is a member of several organisations of the publishing world, such as
Börsenverein des Deutschen Buchandels (Frankfurt am Main),
Koninklijke Vereniging van het Boekenvak (Amsterdam),
VG Wort (Munich) and
EU publishers forum (Luxembourg).
